HELLOOOO... My day started AWESOME this morning... and I could use some good news after having such a rough day yesterday. I was able to make a simple layout for Design on Cloud 9's weekly challenge though. Which also turned out to be one of the winner's!! Yay me!! Super Happy face! :) just found out the great news this morning on facebook... hence the awesomeness of my morning.

Should have posted this yesterday but here it is:

I used Design on Cloud 9's 'Smell My Feet' set to make this super simple & super cute layout.

Going Batty

Well, I did the Little Scraps of Heaven's weekly challenge again. This weeks challenge was a 'grey-scale' layout challenge and you could use one color as a "splash color". I chose the color orange. Which was perfect for a Halloween theme.

I used pattern sets from LSHD to create this double layout. The big cutesy bats & pumpkins were from the 'Going Batty' set. And the tree, clouds, tombstones, & little bats were from the 'Ghouls Night Out' set.  The font I used for the title is called 'BlackCastleMF' which you can download for FREE from 1001 Free Fonts. I used a double shadow on the font to get this look.

I know I've been doing more projects with Little Scraps of Heaven Designs ... but can you blame me?! Their characters are just soooooooo cute!! And even if I don't win the weekly challenge I still get to chose a single pattern for FREE!! So I still win! Yay!!

Thanks for stopping by & HAPPY CRAFTING!!

John Deere Inspired Picture Frame

Here's another project I made. A personalized picture frame for a sweet little boy who had a John Deere themed birthday party.

Killed two birds with one stone with this one... because I also submitted it into Little Scraps of Heaven's weekly challenge today!!

I purchased a Hallmark shadowbox picture frame and personalized it with the birthday boy's theme and colors. The tractor, trailer, & hay bales were from LSHD's "Hayride Fun" pattern set. The clouds and sun were pattern I had drawn by hand and hand cut.

RAWR

It feels like I'm constantly running behind... Have you ever felt that way? It seems like the more kids I have the more I need to catch up on things.

Case in point... Here's a layout I did last week for a challenge I did for Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I've been loooooving my sizzix eclips and all the cool things I've been able to do with it! That with the ecal software and awesome cutting files...shoot... makes crafting so so so easy!! And super cute too!

My 3 year old loves dinosaurs and she always pretends that she's a brachiosaurus (her favorite dinosaur). My problem...you can never find any girly ones. Most dinos come in earth tones or primary colors. Not very  girly. BOO, two thumbs thumbs way down!! Luckily I found  a solution. This pink cutie I cut from LSHD's Dino Land pattern set. The best part of using digital cutting files I can customize the size and colors. Voila... instant girly dinosaurs! Yay!!

Caramel Apple Teddy Card

Found a cute paper piecing website. What is so great is that they sell cut files so no cutting by hand! Which makes assembly so much quicker.Yay!!  It all started because I've always like the look of tear bears but didn't have the patience to tear each body part and then piece them together.

Luckily there a few sites out there that have super cute designs. Here is just the start to my "FALL" card making season.

This little guy is from Treasure Box Designs. I used a couple different sets to make this card. The teddy is from the Halloween Party set and the moon, clouds, & candy apple are from the So Batty for Treats set. They also have an awesome video tutorial on how to create adorable dewdrop eyes. I think it give the characters that little extra touch and make them super expressive.

I love all the creative opportunities that the Holidays bring!
HAPPY CRAFTING EVERYONE!!

Strawberry Themed Birthday Decor

I also wanted to include these cute strawberry cut-outs I made and hung them above the banner at Kyan's birthday party.

I made this cute strawberry into a cut file. :)

You can download this berry cute FREE svg file HERE and make them to any size you want.

I'll be posting more svg files soon. Have fun crafting!

Strawberry Invites

I am moving soooooo s-l-o-w!! I had everything for Sean's party done a month in advance but for Kyan's party it's totally the opposite. Finally getting to post what I did for Kyan's bday... :(

I love love love Paperglitter's digital printables but I still wanted to add that handmade feel to it. This is what I came up with:

I colored flat-back pearls with a yellow permanent ink marker and adhered them with glue dots and added them t the centers of the flowers

Then I used a ribbon punch and tied a bow at the bottom of the card making sure that the #5 was visible just to add a handmade feel.

Overall I think the invites came out berry cute!
