Both will be for my bestie... who is also a craftaholic. I hope these put a smile on her face.

Xyron Creative Station w/ 9" Permanent Adhesive Refill
Corrugated Cardstock (DCWV)
Patterned Paper- Bella Armoire (DCWV)

Mod Podge (Plaid)
Chipboard
Black, Red Cardstock (Bazzill Basics)
Craft Gift Bag
Hemp Twine
Red Button

Regal Heart

Heart Branch

First I started by cutting black polka dot paper and chipboard with my Die-Namites Regal Heart Die.
Then I painted the chipboard die-cut with gesso.
Once dried, I rubbed on some Red Cherry Gelatos directly onto the die-cut.
Then spritzed with water and tilted it so the excess would drip off. (You can use a heat gun to speed up dying time).
Once the piece was dried I applied a layer of Mod Podge to seal the color.
Immediately after applying Mod Podge I layered my black polka dot die cut directly over it. Using the wet Mod Podge glues it in place.
Then I set aside to dry.

Once my die-cut was dry I ran it through my Xyron 3" Sticker Maker.

Then I cut out red and black cardstock with my Die-Namites Heart Branches Die. 4  in red and 2 in black.

I'm decorating a small craft gift bag that measures 5.25" x 8.5",
Black cardstock mat measures 5.25" x 5.25",
Red cardstock measures 5"x 5",
Corrugated cardstock measures 4.75"x 4.75",
Black & white patterned paper measure 2.5"x 2.5" each.

I ran all my mat pieces through my Xyron Creative Station. This is going on a gift bag and I wanted a really strong adhesive, so I used a 9" permanent adhesive refill cartridge.

I layered my mats  and then applied my patterned pieces in a diagonal. In the bare corrugated square I layered my heart branches.

Then attached my heart and topped it off with a hemp twine bow and red button.
And lastly , I wrapped my goodie and stuffed the top of my bag with this red glitter tissue paper I had leftover from Christmas! Yes, Christmas!! That bright Christmas red pulls double duty as a lovely Valentine's Day Red too!!

And here is my finished bag!! I love how these dies really dress up a plain brown paper bag.

And here is my bag paired with the Valentines Day / encouragement card I mad earlier!!
If you missed it, you can read all about it here!

Hope my bestie loves them!!

And I hope you enjoyed reading about them!!

Until next time...
HAPPY CRAFTING!!

Get Well Soon

Hello Crafty Friends... Today I have the privilege of  sharing this beautiful project with you. All these these gorgeous flowers and flourishes are from a special woman who is known for her elegant designs that incorporate luxurious textiles and prints which have made her name synonymous with elegance.

Supplies Used
Anna Griffin Flourish Emblem Die (Cuttlebug)
Xyron Creative Station w/ 5" Permanent Adhesive Refill
Cut'n'boss (Craftwell)
Sizzix eclips 2 machine w/ ecal 2 software
Gold Metallic Cardstock (Grafix)
Martha Stewart Deluxe Paper Trimmer
Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
Craft gift bag
Wired Ribbon (Kirkland)
Burlap
Gold Sharpie
Cutterbee Scissors
2Way Glue Pen (EK Success)
Glass Jar w/ lid
Homemade Chicken Soup
Tissue Paper

Almost all the beautiful elements I used for my project came from Anna Griffin Pretty Painting Card Kit.

As you can see there are more the enough  to make several projects. And just because it's called a card kit that shouldn't limit you to just making cards. The front panel of my bag was made by cutting... yes, I said cutting, this beautiful 5"x7" card that came in this beautiful kit.

Then I cut out this beautiful filigree panel from gold cardstock using Anna Griffin's Flourish Emblem Die and my Cut'n'boss machine.

Then I ran both the card panel and my flourish panel through my Xyron Creative Station. A lot of times adhesive have a difficult time adhering to craft paper. That is not the issue with Xyron's super strong adhesive.

I simply peeled my cardpanel and stuck it onto my craft bag. No need to worry about it falling off... it's there for good! Repeating again with my flourished panel.

The great thing about this Anna Griffin Card Kit id that almost everything (with the exception of the cards, ribbon, and inserts) in it is self adhesive.

These are the GORGEOUS FLOWERS I choose to embellish my bag. I 'd say that choosing which flower to embellish my project was the hardest part of the project. And not because it was  a difficult project to make but because everything looked great together... it was hard to choose just a few.

I even made a coordinating label for my jar of soup with elements from this kit. The smaller cards included in this set made perfect jar labels. All I did was add a couple of the beautiful flowers to now "label" and gave it a quick pass through my Xyron  Creative Station.

I have the ugliest handwriting ever... so to save myself some embarrassment I decided to cut the words "chicken soup" out of more metallic cardstock with the help of my Sizzix eclips machine.

Then I adhered them to my label using a glue pen. Now doesn't that look way more prettier that my raggedy handwriting? LOL

For the lid of my jar I used the jar cover to trace a circle onto burlap material. I made this circle using a gold sharpie instead of a black one because black would stand out too much if it bled through my burlap

I drew a second circle about 1.5"-2" bigger than my traced circle and cut my burlap out along the outer circle. I placed my burlap over the lid and held it  in place with  rubber band. Then I wrapped it with my wired ribbon and finished the lid off with a basic bow. (Just a little tip: screwing the lid back on the jar before doing the previous steps helps tremendously)

I also made a triple looped bow and hot glued it onto my gift bag.

Lastly, I filled my clean glass jar with homemade chicken soup and adhered my pretty chicken soup label. My husband makes the best homemade chicken soup ever!! Sorry friends. I can't tell you you how it's made but I can tell you what's in it ... if you want to know feel free to message me. I can tell you I love it over store bought canned soup!!

I don't know why but chicken soup always make people feel better. And looking at this get well gift almost makes me wish I was sick! What person wouldn't feel better after receiving a gift like this?! It's filled with comfort and made with LOVE!!

It's homemade LOVE in a jar (and bag)!! And, I hope you enjoyed it!

Until next time, Crafty Friends...

Happy Crafting!!

eBrushed Hawaiian gift bag & tag

Merry Christmas eBrush fans!! Today I have a beautiful ebrushed gift set to share with you all. I wanted to do something that is a reflection of my heritage. Although I was not born in Hawaii, I did grow up in Hawaii and spent most of my life there. So, I wanted to do a little something special that is a reflection of my heritage.

Supplies you will need:
eBrush with Sharpie (SP) adapter
Metallic Gift Bag
Dreamweaver Stencils ( LL482, LS27, & LM204)
Background stencil (for more info click here)
Painter's tape
Oval Die
Tag Die
Metallic Paper
Sharpies (red, orange, yellow, light green, & green)

With a few item I turned this dollar store bag into a trendy upscaled gift.

With painter's tape I taped a down a border around my stencil onto my dollar store bag. This helps keep the stencil from moving and gives me a clean line around my bag. I put a cut out of an oval under my background stencil to mask off an area for my other stencil image to be set into.

I airbrushed the background onto my bag using my eBrush machine with the Sharpie adapter and a red Sharpie. Then I removed the stencil and oval mask.

In then revealed masked oval area I centered my  Dreamweaver pineapple stencil (LS27) and masked it with more painters tape. I then ebrushed the pineapple using my sharpies starting with my yellow, then orange for the base of my pineapple, and then light green and green for the leaves.

I masked off my Dreamweaver's Season's Aloha (LM204) stencil above the red stenciled area and ebrushed my sentiment.

Here is the image of the finished bag .

I also removed the metallic "rope" that came with the bag and replaced it with burlap ribbon. This gave it a more luxurious look of that of an upscale boutique store.

Using my tag die I cut a tag out of metallic paper to match the bag. I repeated the pineapple motif my ebrushing a bigger Dreamweaver pineapple stencil (LL482). Again, using yellow, orange, light green, and green sharpies. Instead of ebrushing the same red background I opted for just a simple red border.  I did want them to coordinate but I  didn't want it to be too "matchy-matchy".

 The results were just stunning!!

We are a family that supports local artisans so I paired my gift bag and tag with a wine bought from our local winery.

I hope this inspires you to turn your dollar store finds into something luxurious too!

And as we say in Hawaii...
