Frogs & Pandas

You know sometimes life just doesn't want to cut you any slack. I've been crazy busy and just haven't had any time to post some of my projects. Shame on me!!

Anyhoo... Just wanted to share a few projects that I've done recently...

All these little froggies were favors and treat boxes for I made for my son's second birthday.

This little guy's belly is actually lip balm.

I got this awesome frog cut file, called Hoppy Days, from Designs on Cloud 9.  Which is also where I got this cute pillow box (Pillow Box 1) cut file from.

This eye catching card below was made with stamps from Designs on Cloud 9's sister company, Pink and Main. These adorable pandas are from their new January release called Pandamonium.

This is one of my favorite sets. Keep an eye out for the other January release!! They are ALL super cute!! I will be using them in upcoming cards real soon!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Me Hungry... Long Time

Hello Everyone! Had me another late night / early mornings again... but what else is new?! It's the only down time I have... *sigh*!! Especially now that it's summer, I have an extra munchkin running around the house. Oh, the joys of parenthood! I love my kids!! They always make even the gloomiest days bright!

So, after I tucked all four of my monster's away for the evening I was finally able to assemble my project.  Ad, here it is...

Me Hungry Long Time

I used Design on Cloud 9's Chinese Takeout to create this layout. And, believe it or not, I didn't even use the whole set. This set comes with another bear (holding a fortune cookie), a title, and a cute chow mein filled takeout box (where I got the shrimp).

Title
The font I used was a free font I downloaded from dafont.com called Takeout.  Yay, free!!

peeking bear
This bear was supposed to be holding a fortune cookie but I decided to make him a peeker. I love his little hat!

soy sauce bottle
I covered the the cut outs in Glossy Accents. I tried to make it resemble the actual glass bottle...not bad! I think I like it...

teapot bear

shrimp sushi (my favorite!)
Ok, I know sushi isn't chinese but I love sushi! These bite size cuties I made taking the shrimp from the chow mein/ takeout box and layering it on top of shrunken rice mounds from the rice bowl. I LOVE ALL THINGS SHRIMP!! And this layout is making me humgry!!

So, with that said, GET CRAFTING!! I'm gonna eat something maybe a handroll... LOL!
