Sweet Dreams

Hey there, Crafty Friends!! I have a super cute card for you today!

This one was inspired by the youngest of my four children. He keeps me on my toes day in and day out... and more often than not drains the life out of me and worries me to death with his very boyish tendencies. He plays too hard and seems almost fearless. But once he drifts into a  peaceful slumber, everything seem alright in the world, and my mind (and body) are finally at ease. And as I look down at him fast asleep, I don't see that little mischief maker, all I see is a perfect angel

Other Supplies Used

White Cardstock (Bazzill Basics)
Patterned Paper (Playshop Paper Hawaii)
Odorless Mineral Spirits
Blending Stumps
VersaMagic Ink Pads-Sea Breeze, Aegean Blue, Thatched Straw (Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko)
Momento Ink Pad- Tuxedo Black (Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko)
Sponge Sweeper (Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko)
VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad
2Way Glue Pen (EK Success)
3D Dots (EK Success)
Ultrafine Iridescent Glitter
White Gel Pen (Sakura)
PITT Artist Pen XS (Faber-Castell)
Frame, Scallop (Sizzix)

I stamping my image with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I used Spectrum Noir colored pencils. I also used a 2 way glue pen to add glue to the sleeping cap rim and pom-pom. Then layered ultra fine iridescent glitter over both.

Then I used blue painters tape to hold my die in place and die cut my image(and clouds) using the matching Sweet Dreams Baby Dies.

For my card base I made an A2 sized card base and taped off the top half with blue painter's tape to mask off only half of my card. Then I sponged on Aegean Blue, Sea Breeze, Thatched Straw chalk ink.

I shaded the edges of the clouds with Sea Breeze chalk ink and backed them with 3D pop dots. Then I shaded the frame with Agean Blue ink and added more 3D dots behind it. I mounted both onto my card base and a banner I made using the sweet dreams sentiment and double fishtail banner stamp from the Stitched Greetings stamp set. Then cut it out with the matching die and added it to my card with more foam adhesive.

For the final touch a drew tiny hearts onto my background with a white gel pen and added faux stitch lines with my PITT Artist Pen in XS.

And here is my finished card...

I hope you enjoyed this card... it really is such a sweet card!

Until next time...

Returning to Team Xyron

Hello, Crafty Friends!!
I am so excited to announce that I am returning to Xyron for a second term! Woohoo!! You know, back home in Hawaii, we have a term that we use for things that we enjoy so much that they need another "go around". We use the term "hana hou" as kind of like an encore or standing ovation... it translates to "do it again" and is directed in appreciation toward a happening or event. Well, this is my Xyron "hana hou", my next go around!! And, I am wonderfully blessed to have been selected to join them once again.  Xyron is such an AMAZING company and the team is packed filled with EXTRAORDINARY talent!!

Here is a look at Xyron's 2016 Design Team...

Upper Row, Left to Right: Shellye Proctor McDaniel, Karen Jiles, ME, & Natalie Robinson Wright
Middle Row, Left to Right: Stephanie Chan,  Jessica LitmanKatie King, & Sharon Callis
Bottom Row, Left to Right: Morena Hockley, & Amanda Vasquez

A lot of you may not know that much about me, or know my crafting journey. So, I would like to  take a little time to tell you more about myself...

My name is Mitsyana Wright. I live in  Brenham, Texas.
I am a stay at home mother of 4 (2 girls and 2 boys)

They are silly, wild, fearless, and
filled with so much energy!  I wish I had just a fraction of what they have!

From Left to Right: Miriam (7), Kyan (8), Sean (4), and Jordan (3)
They are my sunshine on cloudy days, my greatest joy, and inspiration to almost all of my projects.

I am happily married, to my best friend, and we've been married for 10 amazing years. He is my rock and the foundation to our family. Without his loving support I don't think I would've come this far... he definitely is my biggest supporter and #1 fan (Well, tied for #1... with my kids).

In addition to Xyron, I am currently on design teams for Craftwell (Team Cut'n'boss), Die-Namites Dies, Pink and Main, KaDoodle Bug Designs, and Brutus Monroe (with whom I am also currently creating a line of dies for).

And, also previously designed for Designs on Cloud 9, Virginia Turtle, Oak Tree Stamps, and Craftwell's Team eBrush.

In addition to those, also designed projects for Ben Franklin Crafts Hawaii and my projects were featured in store, in advertisements, and was also published.

I did in store paper crafting demos at Ben Franklin as well as Taj Clubhouse Hawaii.

I love everything craft/art related!! I love ceramics, drawing, coloring, scrapbooking, mixed media, and most of all... card making!! And my favorite type of cards have always been interactive and shaker cards. And I especially love making them being on the Xyron team because using my Xyron adhesives makes it so much quicker and easier for everything to come together.

Check out these shaker cards I put together using my Xyrons...

(Click on links below each pic to see full tutorials for each project)

Xyron has made each of these card come together much more easier than using liquid glue! And I don't have to worry about warping! But they can do waaaaaay more than just shakers... Oh my gosh, let me tell you... that is just the very tip of the iceberg! That is why Xyron ,will time and time again, always be what I reach for while crafting!!

Here are my GO-TOS & ALL-TIME FAVES...

Xyron Mega Runner                                 3" Sticker Maker

And, I can't wait to share with you all, brand new ways you can utilize these great tools!!
This new term is going to be AMAZING!!

Hope you all stay tuned for what is in store next!!

Until then...
HAPPY CRAFTING!!

COMPLETE LINE-UP

Hello, Crafty Friends! Welcome to day 2 of the Die-Namites & So Suzy Stamps Blog Hop as we continue on with more crafty fun and inspiration!!

If you are just joining us you may want to start at the beginning of the hop, HERE If you are coming from Monica Monge-Taylor's blog, Taylormade Cards 4u, you are in the right place!!

Today I have a wonderful wedding/ anniversary card using the new Wedding Arbour (from Die-Namites)

Today, I will be featuring these awesome products from Die-Namites and So Suzy Stamps...

Judy Garland

I started by die-cutting my gazebo and couple out of plain white cardstock.

I colored in the gazeebo with  gray Spectrum Noir Markers (IG1, IG2, IG4) and leaves in IG4. Then I outlined and  drew in details with a PITT Artist Pen in XS.

I used Spectrum Noir Markers FS3 & FS6  for the skin color. And, I used s PITT Artist Pen (XS) for the fine lines and details.
Then, I used VersaFine Onyx Black ink to stamp my sentiment... this beautiful quote by Judy Garland! Because So Suzy Stamps are deep red rubber stamps, every impression comes out crisp and clean.

After I stamped my sentiment, I inked the ages of my card front with brown chalk ink. Then I attached my arbour onto my card front, letting it over hang off the edge, and trimming away the excess. I used a Brush  (B) PITT Artist Pen to doodle lines around the perimeter of the card front. Then used a distresser to rough up the edges.

I made my card base from plain white cardstock and used a scalloped border punch along the bottom of  the card. Then used my Xyron Mega Runner to attach my gorgeous couple to my card front, and then attached card front to my card base.

Supplies Used
Wedding Arbour (Die-Namites)

Welcome!! We hope you're having a great time so far and I am so happy that you stopped by!

For today's project I chose to use the following Die-Namites Dies and So So Suzy Stamps.

Elegance

I started by die-cutting the Bell Flowers and Budding Branches out of craft paper. I cut 4 Bell Flowers and 2 Budding Branches.

I colored and shaded all my flowers with my eBrush machine and Sharpie markers. For the leaves I used a the following colors: light green, green, and orange. For the bells I used lavender, purple, and brown... for the stamens on the flowers I used yellow and orange.

After airbrushing them I added a bit of dimension using a stylus and foam mat by rubbing my stylus in a circular motion on the back side of my flowers.

I hand drew detail lines using  a PITT Artist Pen in XS. And, for the budding vines, I used a white opaque marker just on the buds.

I stamped the Elegance sentiment stamp by So Suzy Stamps using VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad. The red rubber stamp gives a gorgeous crisp image! Just look at those details... these are really fine lines and the impressions are clean and crisp!

I snipped my budding branches and bell flowers into smaller pieces and attached them onto my card front using glossy accents.

Then, lastly, I used my Xyron Mega Runner to attach my card front to my card base. I could have attached the card front before adding my die-cut but got carried away and attached them to my card front first. LOL... sometimes it happens!

And here is my finished card...

Supplies Used
eBrush (Craftwell)
Patterned Paper- (Canvas Home Basics- Black and Craft, My Mind's Eye- Ooh La La For Her)
White Cardstock (Bazzill Basics)
Glossy Accents (Ranger)
White Opaque Marker (Recollections)
PITT Artist Pen-XS (Faber-Castell)
Sharpie Markers- Lavender, Purple, Light Green, Green, Yellow, Orange, Brown

MY NEW DIES ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER!!!

**UPDATE**
These have been updated to NOW SHIPPING!

Ever since I started my crafting journey several years ago, I always dreamed of being able to design and create my own dies.Well, after months of preparations, I'm so excited and proud to finally say that my die line is now available for Pre-Order exclusively from Brutus/Monroe!!

Here are the first three sets for our debut release...

This 12 piece tag die set was designed with card makers and pocket letter enthusiasts in mind.
The largest tag is a standard A2/ postcard size and makes for an excellent card base.
The smallest tag makes the perfect pocket-letter/ ATC mat..
Also included are two additonal tags for a variety of paper crafting needs.
This set also includes a stand alone stitch -lines & eyelet holes die. These will allow you to run stitch lines or eyelets along your projects in lengths you would like starting from 2". And, if that wasn't exciting enough... I've also included corners to go with them for perfect corner alignment.
In addition, is a separate stitched tag hole and a stitched star, so you can turn almost any die cut (from our sets or yours) into a tag.
In the center of our set is the double stitched oval die. You can use this die to cut a stitched window or use it by it's self as a the stitched oval cut-out... or pair it with either stitched stitched hole or star to make an adorable tag.
Last but not least, is the ribbon slots die. Die-cut once and you have slots for a standard knot or bow... or die-cut  multiple times and thread your ribbon for an border effect.

This set is packet full of possibilities!!
You can purchase this set for PRE-ORDER here.

These next two sets were designed to work with each other...

Introducing the Marquee Text and Embracing you die sets.

Marquee Text                                         Embracing You Script

These sets were designed to work with each other. You can mix-n-match the script words with the marquee texts to give you a variety of sentiment options while being encouraging and supportive. These are BOLD dies that quickly  draw the eye onto any card or layout.

You can purchase these sets for PRE-ORDER here and here.

These die sets are just the start to the new line and I am so excited to have this opportunity! I can't wait to show you what is coming up next!!

Hope you all have a crafty day!!
