With Mimi getting a plastic pellet from a Beanie Baby stuck in her ear and running around like a mad woman go from doctor to doctor I totally forgot to post this weeks freebie.

Remember, every Friday a new file is released. Each file is free for only one week and is then replaced the following Friday.

Didn't make the cut :(

Kind of bummed... I didn't get picked for the LSHD design team. I guess there was really stiff competition for this call because they assigned a  sort of challenge to help them determine their newest members. And here is my submissions...

AND

And here is a close up

On this bear I added 3D laquer to her eyes and nose to make 'em pop and added little earrings. I love how she turned out.

And even though I didn't make the cut I still had a great time and that's what really matters. This is not at all gonna stop me from crafting.

I hope my work encourages and inspires others to be creative.
Happy Crafting Everyone!!

needs more something

It's been a long time... Where do I begin? I had another baby and now am a proud mama of 4. Baby Jordan was born the day after New Years... not quite a New Years baby but he was our town's first baby of 2013. So,yea me!! And yes, only now I'm posting about it. It has taken me a whole lot longer to get to the swing of things.

My crafting was put on the back burner till fairly recently. And, I'm glad to say, I have officially started crafting again (insert another "yea, me!" moment here)! Thanks to Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, they gave me an extra incentive to craft at full steam. I read on their Facebook page that they were looking for a couple new design team members and were holding an open call. But the thing was,I only saw it the day before all entries were due. Yikes!!!

Here is one of the project I submitted. This one I did the day of the deadline. I still feel it needs a little bit more. I think I'll be tweaking this soon.

For this layout I used the Make Em' Laugh pattern set for the clown car and girl clown and a file called Circus Seal.Which happened to be a previous freebie.

I'll be posting more creations real soon so check back often!

Free SVG

Hello weekend... how I missed you! My passed week was not what I hoped it would be... and it started to go down hill when my beloved eclips machine quit on me and refused to power up. Luckily Sizzix has excellent customer service. I gave them a call and explained my dilemma. They emailed me a return slip for my machine and it was just mailed out this morning. Hopefully they'll send me a replacement really soon because I have been jones-ing to craft.

So, without actually making anything I actually created something... I've created another freebie SVG to share.

You can download this pretty flutterby HERE.

More svg files soon to come...

Thanks for stopping by & Happy Crafting Everyone!

Free SVG

HELLO EVERYONE!!! I've been feeling really good the past week and decided to make a svg file to give away on my blog. Just felt like doing something random to day... so ENJOY!

You can download this svg file here... fancy_frame

This makes a great background for layouts or can be used to frame picture within your layouts. Either way it will give your scrapbook pages an elegant touch! Or why not put it on a card? This svg has many possibilities... let's see what you can make with it!

HAPPY CRAFTING!!

Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet

HELLOOOO... My day started AWESOME this morning... and I could use some good news after having such a rough day yesterday. I was able to make a simple layout for Design on Cloud 9's weekly challenge though. Which also turned out to be one of the winner's!! Yay me!! Super Happy face! :) just found out the great news this morning on facebook... hence the awesomeness of my morning.

Should have posted this yesterday but here it is:

I used Design on Cloud 9's 'Smell My Feet' set to make this super simple & super cute layout.

John Deere Inspired Picture Frame

Here's another project I made. A personalized picture frame for a sweet little boy who had a John Deere themed birthday party.

Killed two birds with one stone with this one... because I also submitted it into Little Scraps of Heaven's weekly challenge today!!

I purchased a Hallmark shadowbox picture frame and personalized it with the birthday boy's theme and colors. The tractor, trailer, & hay bales were from LSHD's "Hayride Fun" pattern set. The clouds and sun were pattern I had drawn by hand and hand cut.

RAWR

It feels like I'm constantly running behind... Have you ever felt that way? It seems like the more kids I have the more I need to catch up on things.

Case in point... Here's a layout I did last week for a challenge I did for Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I've been loooooving my sizzix eclips and all the cool things I've been able to do with it! That with the ecal software and awesome cutting files...shoot... makes crafting so so so easy!! And super cute too!

My 3 year old loves dinosaurs and she always pretends that she's a brachiosaurus (her favorite dinosaur). My problem...you can never find any girly ones. Most dinos come in earth tones or primary colors. Not very  girly. BOO, two thumbs thumbs way down!! Luckily I found  a solution. This pink cutie I cut from LSHD's Dino Land pattern set. The best part of using digital cutting files I can customize the size and colors. Voila... instant girly dinosaurs! Yay!!

Strawberry Themed Birthday Decor

I also wanted to include these cute strawberry cut-outs I made and hung them above the banner at Kyan's birthday party.

I made this cute strawberry into a cut file. :)

You can download this berry cute FREE svg file HERE and make them to any size you want.
