Ebrush Butterfly Challenge Sample Card

Hello again my craft happy friends!!
If you have been following my posts yo would know that I am hosting an eBrush Challenge.
Here I have made a sample project to help inspire and jump start the creative juices.

For this challenge you had to incorporate the butterfly border pictured below and airbrush a part of your project with your eBrush.

You could use our Sizzix eclip to cut it out like I did (or any other personal electric cutter that can cut digital files). If you don't have a electronic cutter then I also have the file in JPEG version to cut it out by hand.

For this card I chose to use the diamonds as a cutout background. I opened the file in my ecal software and "HID" all the butterflies before cutting.
Then, I cut out 2 sets of just the butterflies (1 in white carstock & 1 in clear plastic/ acetate)
With my eBrush & Spectrum Noir markers I airbrushed my plastic butterflies and layered them onto their matching white ones.  I added black outlines and detailing with a very fine tip permanent ink pen.

This sentiment is one of my favorites and is from a very old Penny Black rubber stamp. which I stamped using a VersaFine ink pad in Onyx black ink made by Tsukineko.

I cut an extra little butterfly and glued it to the corner of my sentiment.

Here is a closer view of the cutouts and layered butterflies.

If you are interested in joining this challenge please check out the rules here.
And, feel free to download the FREE SVG file.
Also, to participate in the challenge you must request to join the eBrush Facebook group and become a member. The eBrush page is where completed projects must be posted.

I hope you enjoyed my project and I hope it inspires you to join in our challenge.

HAPPY CRAFTING
GOOD LUCK!
