I stamped my images on smooth white cardstock with Momento Ink in Tuxedo Black and colored my images with color pencils and blended it out using odorless mineral spirits. Then I quickly went over the star and eye glasses with my Wink of Stella pen to add a little bit of sparkle.
For the card above, I used paper from DCWV's Basics and Glittered Basics Stacks. I also used the rounded stitched rectangle to also cut stitch lines into the sides of the center band.

I did this by simply assembling your card front, first. I made a horizontal A2 (4.25"x 5.5") sized card. I assembled my pieces using my Xyron Mega Runner. Then die-cut the whole card out using the largest of the rectangles from the stitched rounded rectangles die set. Cutting the assembled pieces together insures the stitched line line up on both sides.

I added foam adhesive to the back of my owl to give some dimension.  And topped my card with a basic bow.
For this card…

I repeated the same steps for coloring.  All papers used were from the Basics Stack. I popped up
my nerdy owl image in a little scalloped hexagon made from the NEW Nested Hexagon and Scallop Hexagon Dies.

I also used the fishtail flag/pennant die from the Sweet on You Set that I added enamel stickers onto. Like the other card I attached the flags to my card front before cutting it out with the stitched rectangle dies. I just love those stitched details, it gives the die-cut pieces a nice “finished” look.

You can find the Sweet on You set is in the Limited Deals section. And what’s awesome is it comes in a bundle with both the stamps and dies together!
How cool is that?? Pretty cool if you ask me!
We hope you can join in the fun and join in on this month’s challenge!!
