Happy Birthday To Ewe

Hello Crafty Friends. I'm sharing another "Lamby" layout with you today. I loved how my last layout turned out so much that I decided to keep with the sheep theme. This just goes to show you that you're not stuck with just using your Easter files just for Easter. Sheep, chicks, & even bunnies can make great EVERYDAY  projects too!!

For this creation I again used Design on Cloud 9's Egg-stra Cute Ewe file set.

The file comes with 4 different sheep. I created the running, front facing, & side standing sheep by adding the legs from the other sheep to the different body parts.

I used the peeker in the cracked egg from the set to peek over my photo mat. And, sorry, the eyes are not included with this set. It is a personal file I created especially for my piecings.

For the running lamb I simply used the side sitting lamb and turned it tummy side down and added 4 legs. Positioned 2 legs as front and 2 as back.

I used flat-back buttons as accents throughout the layout to give a little more dimension. I love the little hearts on the sheep's bottoms... kind of reminds me of Care-Bears.

This little guy was made using the file's front sitting lamb and adding standing legs. I thought he would be extra cute holding a piece of candy & clutching the strings from the balloons.... which, by the way,I tied off all the balloons with hot pink twine that I had purchased at Michaels' in their $1 bins for half off... sale, yay! On top of it being a SUPER SWEET deal this twine is GREAT quality. It is not cheaply made at all!!

This gal was also made with the side sitting lamb... except I stood her legs up instead of laying them down to make her stand.

The birthday cake is not from DC9's Egg-stra Cute Ewe set but from is their Birthday Title file.

And, the party hat & balloons are they are from the Pipsqueak file set.

I also made all the presents from the pipsqueak file set. I used the same present but made them in a variety of sizes.

The font I used for the title is called Antique No 14 and is free to download here from 1001freefonts.com.

And last, but certainly not least, I used EK Success' Cupcake Chain Punch to make the cupcake border strip going across my my layout.

And there you have it... I hope "EWE" enjoyed this project as much as I did making it!

Thanks for stopping by & Happy Crafting!!
