Hello Crafty Friends!
Today is the last day of the Photo Inspiration Challenge!! And I've got one more inspirational card for ya!!
For this card I used Die-Namites' Hello Daisy die.
I love the bright Yellows in the inspiration photo... it just jumped out at me! So I used that as my starting point and thought that these daisies were just perfect to do the job!
I cut three layers of flowers from white card stock. I kept one layer completely intact and glued it to a piece of card stock so the little pieces wouldn't fall out. Then I airbrushed that layer with yellow, orange, green, and brown markers .
The second layer I airbrushed light green, then dark green around the edges and punched out and discarded the veins of the leaves. Then I glued that layer down over the first layer. For my last layer I cut off only the blooms. and airbrushed the centers of the two biggest flowers with yellow. Then glued those over their matching flowers.
I adhered my flowers to craft cardstock using an embossing folder that mimicked the inspirational layout. And highlighted the raised areas with a white opaque marker for a bit of pop. I matted it with plain yellow cardstock , then adhered it to a plain white card base.
Finally, I topped my flowers off with a triple loop bow and hot glued a button into place.
I hope you enjoyed today's inspirational card! And, don't forget, today is the very last day you can enter the challenge!! Make sure to link to the ORIGINAL challenge post HERE.
I hope you join us in on the fun!!
Until next time...
Happy Crafting!!
