Trunk-OR-Treat

Hello again, Crafty Friends!!

We are getting closer and closer to Halloween! And for the first time ever, I DO NOT have any decorations out yet?? Oh no!! Not to fear, I'm getting my Halloween mojo up ready!!
Because, throughout this week, the Xyron Design Team will be teaming up with Tim Holtz to bring you amazing projects... and my project is putting me in full haunting mode!!

I call it Trunk-Or-Treat!!
Hahahahahaha... sometimes I crack myself up!

Supplies Used
Foundations
Crypt Cameos
 Incantations - Word Bands
Wicked-Adornments
Paper Stash- Collage, Materialize

Xyron Creative Station Lite

 Eileen Hull Traincase Die
Glossy accents
Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
Crickle Ribbon
Black Netting
Brads
Black Chipboard
Artifical Flowers
Scissors

First I started out buy die-cutting my traincase pieces out of black chipboard. For most of these pieces I need double, so make sure you cut out two sets.

These pads are 8" wide so I cut them in half before die-cutting.T
Again, I need 2 sets of each.

This die needs to be used with a crease pad when run through to create the creases in the cut-outs.

Then cut apart at the crease lines.

Then ran the pieces through the Xyron Creative Station and then attached to it's black chipboard counterpart.

I repeated the same process with the little lid pieces.

I used clear adhesive to glue together the flaps and attach the top and bottom pieces. Hold the pieces  in place till the glue sets.

Once all the adhesive was dry I attached these gorgeous, Tim Holtz Foundations to the bottoms of my tiny case.

I draped black netting over top.

Then attached little Wicked Adornments (spiders) and the Curiosities Word Band using Clear adhesive.

I dangled the crypt cameo on a piece of Crinkle Ribbon .

Once all the adhesive was dry I used a hot glue gun to attached a few artificial flowers with leaves and plastic stems.

And here is my Spook-tacular Trunk-Or-Treat Traincase!!
Wow, that's a mouth full!!

I am so in love with the Crypt cameo!! And those spiders... the definitely up the "EEK" factor!!

But do you know what my favorite part of this project is??

The FEET!!

The Tim Holtz Foundations draw your eyes and commands attention... The dress up any and everything and make a great project a GORGEOUS one!!

I hope this project inspires you to make something creepy cool!!
