Other Supplies Used
Christmas Plaid Stack (DCWV)
Reds Family (Core'dinations)
Mega Runner (Xyron)
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (Zig / Kuretake)
VersaFine Onyx Black Ink Pad (Tsukineko/ Imagine Crafts)
Classic Oval Dies (Spellbinders)
Floral Oval Dies (Spellbinders)
Scroll Border Die- Lace Trimmings (Anna Griffin)
Briar Rose Holiday Mix (Petaloo)
Velvet Holly Leaves (Petaloo)
Berry Stems (Dollar Tree)
Glossy Accents (Ranger)

I stamped this image with an VersaFine Onyx Black ink and colored in the image with my Zig Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Then die cut the image with an oval die and layered it onto ornate oval die to frame it.

Adhered my card layers together using my Xyron Mega Runner.

The scroll borders were aso die cuts. I cut out 2 pieces then I attached them together using a glue pen. Then, I attached the joined piece onto the card with clear liquid adhesive.

I added Petaloo flowers & holly leaves. I also added berries I purchased from Dollar Tree. I used a thick clear adhesive to attach the bigger embellishments to the card. You could also use hot glue for this.

Here is a close-up of my finished card...

Hope you all enjoyed today's holiday inspiration!!

life is good ballerina

Hey, Crafty Friends!! We're having gloomy weather down here in the south. So, I am taking a short break from holiday crafting to bring you this bright and cheerful card. Hopefully, it sheds a little bit of sunshine because who couldn't use a little sunshine, right?!

For this card, I used Oak Tree Stamps' Moody Ballerina stamp set. This is such a darling set. I know it pretty much sums up all my moods! LOL

Supplies Used
Moody Ballerina (Oak Tree Stamps)
Big Shot (Sizzix)
Bigz Dies Nested Hanging Stars (Sizzix)
Classic Ovals LG (Spellbinders)
Floral Ovals (Spellbinders)
Teresa Collins Pocket Die, Life is Good- Lover's Lane (Craftwell)
Mega Runner (Xyron)
eBrush (Craftwell)
Pink, Orange, Brown Sharpies
Momento Tuxedo Black Ink (Tsukineko)
Brilliance Twilight Ink Pad (Tsukineko)
White Cardstock (Bazzill Basics)
Patterned Paper- Assorted
Colored Pencils (Spectrum Noir)
Glittered Enamel Dots (Virginia Turtle)
Pink RicRac Ribbon
Pink & White Twine (Recollections)
Blending Tortillions
Gamsol or low odor thinner
2-Way Glue Pen (Ek Success)
Diamond Glaze (Judikins)
Acrylic Blocks (Fiskars)

I started by stamp my little giggling ballerina with Tuxedo Black ink. I used my Spectrum Noir colored pencils to outline my ballerina. Then using my tortillion blending stumps and gamsol I blended the colors out.

I used the little star stamps that came in the Moody Ballerina set and the pink section of my Brilliance ink pad to stamp stars around my little girl.

Then I used my Classic Ovals to die cut her out. I also die-cut a pink mat for my oval using my floral ovals set.

Then I die cut the "life is good" phrase from white cardstock. I ebrushed half my phrase using a soft baby pink sharpie.

To make sure these don't go anywhere, I ran all my pieces through my Xyron Creative Station with a 5" permanent refill cartridge. This ensures that my pieces don't go anywhere.

I created an A2 (4-1/4"x 5-1/2") sized card base from green cardstock.
The white mat measures at 4-1/8"x 5-3/8".
Sprinkles paper measures at 4" x 5-1/4".
The star strip on the bottom measures 1-1/2"x 5-1/4".
The ricrac ribbon measure 5-1/4" long.

I ebrushed my sprinkles paper with a brown Sharpie around the edges. And ebrushed the stars paper with an orange Sharpie.

Then, I assembled my card panels using my Xyron Mega runner and attached the ricrac using Diamond Glaze.

I cut an assortment of stars from pink and blue patterned paper using my Sizzix Nested Hanging Stars die.

And used a glue pen to attach them to my card. Now I can attach my sticker I made from my ovals and phrase onto my card, layering them over my stars, then trimmed off the tips that overhung the edges of the card.

I topped my ballerina with a double loop twine bow and attached it with Diamond Glaze. Then added pink glittered enamel dot throughout my card.

And here is my finished card...

A closer view of my little ballerina

I hope you enjoyed today's card and that it brought some sunshine to your day... or, at the very least, a smile to your face.

Until next time...
HAVE A CRAFTY DAY!!

Deep Red - Butterfly card + Giveaway

Hey, Crafty Friends... Do you like the rubber stamps? I know I absolutely LOVE rubber stamps!! There's just something about the rubber that give  a great impression every time! And that is why I was excited to get to work with stamps from the AWESOME Deep Red Stamps!!

Xyron has partnered up with Deep Red Stamps to showcase their amazing products!.These stamps are made in the U.S. A. and use the traditional red rubber but are made into cling stamps for easy storage. To learn more about Deep Red Stamps click HERE.

One of the first things I noticed right off the bat was that each stamp came in a sturdy resealable bag. And once I removed, I noticed that each stamp came with an image card. Not your ordinary image card but study and laminated... it may even be a plastic card. Which is an awesome added value because now you have an image sheet where you can store your stamp. How super fab is that?

Now, wouldn't love some of these stamps for yourself??! If your answer is yes then I have great news for you!! Deep Red Stamps is giving me $45 in rubber stamps to give away to one lucky reader!! WOOHOO!!

Xyron Mega Runner
Cut'n'Boss  (Craftwell )
Nestabilities Floral Ovals (Spellbinders)
Nestabilities Label Twenty Five (Spelbinders)
Nestabilities Resplendent Rectangles (Spellbinders)
Anna Griffin Poppy   Embossing folder (Cuttlebug)
Anna Griffin embossing folder (Cuttlebug)
Small Ivy (Die-Namites)
Cardstock- Brown, Green, Yellow (Bazzill)
Mixed Media Paper
Craft cardstock (Colorbok)
Momento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad (Tsukineko)
Spectrum Noir Markers- GB2, GB1, GB6, GB7, LG3, LG2, LY2, LY3, CR1, CR3, FS8
eBrush (Craftwell)
Glossy Accents (Ranger)
Foam Sheet
Martha Stewart Delux Trimmer(EK Success)
CutterBee Non-Stick Scissors (EK Success)

First I stamped my image onto Mixed Media paper with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I used my Spectrum Noir markers in CR1, and CR3 to color in the corset.

Then I used LG2 and LG3 to color in the leaves. and GB1, and GB2 to color the centers of theflowers. LG2and LG3 to color the background. And GB2 and GB6 to color the butterfly.

Using my Cut'n'boss machine, I cut my image out using my largest Oval from the Spellbinders Floral Oval dies set. Then color in the rest of the oval with the same LY3 marker. At the same time I also the largest label from the Labels Twenty Five set.
I also cut the largest rectangle from my resplendent rectangles set out of craft cardstock.

I used my AnnaGriffin Folder to emboss my label.

After ebrushing I lightly sanded over the embossed image... basically, making my own color cored cardstock.

I also embossed a 4.75"x6.75" piece of white cardstock with my Anna Griffin Folder.

These beautiful butterflies are also from Deep Red Stamps!! I stamped them with more Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in GB2 and GB Spectrum Noir markers.

Then fussy cut them out. I bent the wings back a bit and added Glossy Accents to them and left them to dry.

While my butterflies were drying I made some homemade foam adhesive. I used my Xyron Creative Station and ran a sheet of craft foam through. then peeled the clear plastic, trimmed off the excess waxed paper bottom and flipped it over and ran it through my Creative station again.

Now that I have my own homemade foam adhesive I can cut it down to whatever size or shape I need.

I cut two leaves using my Small Ivy die from Die-Namites.

Then airbrushed it using my eBrush machine and  green, orange, and brown Sharpies. I added dimension to my leaves by rubbing the back of my die-cuts in a circular motion with a stylus.

And added adhesive to the back using my Xyron Mega Runner.

Then I added my homemade foam adhesive to the back of my label and my floral oval to add dimension.

I attached my butterflies to my card using Glossy Accents.

And added more Glossy Accents over the butterfly in my stamped image for added pop.

And here is my final card once pieced together!!

eBrushing w/ Bella Blvd - Week 2

Hey there crafty friends...
We're back again with Bella Blvd. this week!
And for all you Ebrush enthusiasts that love adding bursts of color to your work Bella Blvd.'s Just Add Color line is made especially for you!!

Supplies Used
Bella Blvd. Enamel Dots Punch
Bella Blvd. Just Add Color Trinkets Full Color 3x12 Stickers
Sharpies- light pink, magenta, lavender, purple, lime green, green, and gray
Spellbinders Beaded Circles
Paper Doily (Wilton)
Cutterbee scissors (EK Success)
Gesso (Liquitex)
3D Dots (Ek Success)

I can't tell you how much I love love love these papers from Bella Blvd.! The Just add color line is mostly composed of awesome patterns in black and white and gray scales so that all you have to do is add your own colors to coordinate with your themes or color schemes.

I started by ebrushing my Bella Blvd. Star Struck paper with my Sharpie markers. The front side of this paper is covered in stars but the backside is covered in these flower doodles! I just filled in each flower doodle by either ebrushing a light pink then a dark pink for the centers or a lavender then a purple for the center. I also ebrushed the entire background in gray.

After I was done ebrushing my paper I cut my piece down to 5.25"x 4" panel. I used my Xyron Mega Runner to adhere my panel onto a standard A2 (5.5" x 4.25") card base. I made my card base using Bella Blvd.'s Peep Strandz paper... Love that pink on pink stripes!!

I used my scissors and cut about 1/2" off of one side my doily. To get a nice straight line I just used the edge of my card as a guide.

I also used my scissor to cut out this flower from the Daily Details sheet... this flower coordinates perfectly with the flowers on the Star Struck sheet. I also used m embossing stylus to round out my flower petals to add a bit of dimension. I added an enamel dot from the Bella Blvd.'s Dot Punch to complete my flower.

I cut a mat for my doily using the second largest beaded circle die and pink cardstock. I then stamped it with this wonderful sentiment from Pink and Main's Believe Script set. This stamp set is just one of several stamps released today for the month of September!!

With a paintbrush I splattered some gesso onto my card base.

While the gesso was drying I hand cut a couple leaves out of Bell Blvd.'s Newsflash paper. Then I ebrushed my leaves with a light green and green Sharpie.

Once my gesso was dry I used my Xyron Mega Runner to adhere my doily and circle to my card base. I used 3Dots for the leaves and flower. And, the little banner that says "YOU are ENOUGH" is from Bella Blvd.'s Trinkets sticker sheet... I just peeled and stuck it onto my card... Super AWESOME!!

And here is my finished card...

Again... I  can't say how much I love these Just Add Color papers from Bella Blvd.!! I can make each project different using the same sheet of paper jut by custom coloring it!! It makes each project unique!

I want to send a very special THANK YOU to Bella Blvd. for being our wonderful sponsor!! I totally love your fun and refreshing [products!

Until next time...

Happy Crafting Friends!!

Mixed Media & Bella Blvd

Hey there Crafty Friends!! Today I got a little something different... I love mixed media!! I love the way you can take different medium and mesh it to create something simply beautiful or something over the hill extraordinary!!

And today I'm expanding my Mixed Media Journey with Bella Blvd.!! Sponsors of Team eBrush for the month of September!!

Supplies Used
Tim Holtz Stencils- Measured, Splatters
Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities- Grand Labels One
Sharpie Markers- Blue and Navy Blue
Blue Painters Tape
Modeling Paste
Sequins (Virginia Turtle)
Diamond Glaze (Judikins)

I started off by ebrushing my Passcode paper by Bella Blvd. with a bright blue Sharpie marker.

Then I simply ebrushed a dark/navy blue ring in the center of that.

Then I added  my blue scalloped border from Bella Blvd's Treasures and Texts stickers.

I wanted to add some texture to my layout. So I taped my layout to my work surface to help prevent warping and bowing.

Then I added modeling paste with a palette knife and my Splattered and Measured Tim Holtz stencils.

And while that was drying...

I die cut my my Bella Blvd Dotty paper with the largest die from my Spellbinders Grand Labels One set using my Cut'n'Boss.

Then I ran the die cut piece through my Xyron Creative Station for durability and adhered it to the base of my layout. Next I took my 4"x6" photo and matted it onto a 4.25"x 6.24" piece of Bella Blvd. Newsflash paper. Then ran my matted photo once again through my Creative Station.

Once my photo was adhered to my layout I embellished it using more stickers from the Bella Blvd. Treasure and Texts sheet. With my parvy circle punches I cut various circle in different sizes to add to my layout.  I tied everything in by scattering and adhering Guacamole Doodads across the page. I also added words from the Orange Little Bits stickers to my biggest circle.

I thought using the words "goofy boy moments" went perfectly with this picture of my son with his tongue hanging out.

Lastly I used my dimensional glue to adhere sprinkles of sequins onto my layout.

And here is my finished layout...
