IT'S SO EASY!! See the full list of participating blogs down below.

Now let's get this party started!!
The inspiration for my project came from Dana's Standard Gatefold Card video...

This project was so super simple! Once the base of the gatefold card was made, embellishing was a breeze!

AND

Here 's my version of this project...

I just followed Dana's easy peasy instructions to make the gatefold base...

Using a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of card stock and a scoreboard, I made a crease at the 2-1/8"  and again 6-3/8" marks with a bone folder.

Folded the panel flaps inward and creased.

BAM, DONE!!

I used paper from DCWV's Happy Day Stack for the card base and panels. I embellished my panel flaps with these cool flower panels from Stephanie Barnard's Half Card Panels Die set and "glitterfied" a chipboard panel underlay using my 3" sticker maker and ultrafine glitter.

I die cut a couple circles and mounted them on more chipboard. Then,
I used more paper from my Happy Day Stack to create the sentiment for the middle "closure".

Close-up of the finished card...

Supplies Used
Chipboard
Stephanie Barnard's Half Card Panels Thinlits (Sizzix)
Stitched Circle Dies (Pink and Main)
Light Green Ultra Fine Iridescent Glitter

I really hope you liked my version of Dana's Gatefold Card! I had so much fun making it, especially because I got to play with glitter! This girl LOOOOVES GLITTER!! LOL

Thank you so much for dropping by

Hey Handsome - Pink and Main & Xyron Blog Hop

Hey, Crafty Friends!
I have exciting news.
Pink and Main and Xyron will be partnering up and holding a week-long blog hop!!
We still have tons more creative projects to show you using Pink and Main products along with Xyron adhesives!

Since this is a hop, you know we have to have a little blog hop candy.
Pink and Main and Xyron are each giving away a $25 Gift Certificate to Pink and Main and a Xyron Mega Runner. Additional details for the giveaway will be posted down below.

Today, I wanted to create a fun card for the cool little dude in your life because let's face it, looking good is hard work!

Supplies Used

Too Cool (Pink and Main)

Directional Border Dies (Pink and Main)

Take Flight (Pink and Main)
Take Flight 2 (Pink and Main)
Be Brave (Pink and Main)
Mega Runner (Xyron)
140 lb Mixed Media Paper
Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad (Tsukineko/ Imagine Crafts)
Tim Holtz Distress Markers (Ranger)
Waterbrush
Acrylic Block
Big Shot Machine (Sizzix)

To build my card, I used the largest rectangle from the Stitched Rounded Rectangle Dies set from the Chevron paper. I cut another rectangle from the stars paper and trimmed it to 1 1/2" portion. Then cut a 1/2" strip from the gray striped paper.

I layered the pieces together using my Xyron Mega Runner.
Then die cut 2 smaller rectangles and mounted them slightly off of one another.

I love these fun border Directional Border Dies that I thought looked great in the narrow strip. Cutting it out in that bold red paper really makes it pop against the gray.
I used the bear with the backpack image to stamp onto mixed media paper. I colored the little guy, then hand cut him out, and mounted onto the card front using foam adhesive.

Then finally, stamped my sentiment using black ink.

And here is my finished card...

What little guy wouldn't want a card as cool as this?

I hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial!

Don't forget to enter to win the Pink and Main $25 Gift Certificate and a Mega Runner Prize Package! All you have to do is comment on any or all the featured posts on Xyron's page all week.

Happy Crafting Everyone
&
Good Luck

FB Stamps- Posies

Hi again, Crafty Friends!! It looks like it's a Two-fer Tuesday! Yup, I have another project for you all today! This time I have this lovely rosie posie card using...

Fleurette Blooms' Posies stamps set.

Image result for fleurette bloom designs posies

Others Supplies Used
140 lb. Mixed Media Paper (Strathmore)
Burlap Paper (DCWV)
Patterned Paper (DCWV)
Lynda Kanase Photo Banner (Sizzix)
Tim Holtz Honeycomb Frameworks Die (Sizzix)
Hello Die (Pink and Main)
Onyx Black Ink (Tsukineko/ Imagine Crafts)
Tim Holtz Distress Markers (Ranger)
Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Ranger)
White Gesso (Liquitex)
Microbeads
Acrylic Paint (Prima Marketing)

I stamped my image onto mixed media paper with black archival ink and colored with distress markers then blended out with a water brush.

Once completely dried, I cut each flower out by hand.

I die cut leaves from Lynda Kanase's Photo Banner die set from old music sheets. Then shaded them with Distress Inks and added details with Distress Markers.

I die cut a honeycomb out of chipboard using Tim Holtz' Honeycomb Frameworks Die. I mixed white gesso , microbeads, and texture powder together and applied over the entire honeycomb.

I allowed the mixture to completely dry then colored with distress stain then dry brushed acrylic paint.

Using my Xyron Creative Station Lite, I attached a 4.25"x 5.5" piece of burlap onto a standard A2 sized card made from cream colored cardstock. Then layered a 4"x 5.25" mat on top.

I used a bit of glossy accents as a glue and attached to my card front. The laid down my leaves before attaching my posies over top with more glossy accents.

To fish my card, I die cut the word hello from brown cardstock and attached at the bottom of card.

And here is my finished card..

Such a simply yet beautiful card.

I hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial for today!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!!

Hello- G'Day Mate Card

Hello, Crafty Friends!
It's been a while since I posted. My Kids have been sick all month and it has not been a fun ride. In fact, everyone in my household had gotten sick but me (knock on wood).

Now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and return to my regular crafting schedule. I missed it so much. It felt weird not crafting every day!! I'm not going to lie, it was a bit depressing. It really is hard not to feel down when little ones are sick and even worse when you can't do anything for them but let whatever bug they caught, ride out its course. Bleh!

So, I am now set on bringing a bit of HAPPY back. Today, I have this adorable card using some of my favorite Pink and Main products! And if that little kangaroo doesn't make you squeal with happiness I don't know what will!

Pink and Main Products Used

Other Supplies Used
140 lb. Mixed Media Paper (Strathmore)
110 lb. Brown Cardstock (Recollections)
VersaFine Onyx Black Ink (Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko)
Tim Holtz Distress Markers (Ranger Ink)
Mega Runner (Xyron)
Big Shot (Sizzix)
2-Way Glue Pen (EK Success)

First, I started by stamping my image from the Koalaty Friend set onto 140 lb. mixed media paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.
Then I colored the image using Tim Holtz's Distress Markers in Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick.

Next, I die cut the cute little guy using the matching Koalaty Friend Dies.

I die cut two stitched rectangles using the Stitched Rounded Rectangle Dies. One cut from the Take Flight paper pad (colorful polka dots) and the other from the Take Flight 2 (gray stripes).

I used a stitched wave die from the Scallop Waves Dies set to cut the striped gray rectangle.

I cut a second wave and a scalloped wave,  layered them onto the first and trimmed them with the stitched rectangle die so that they made perfectly sized borders. Using a magnetic platform or painters tape will help the paper from shifting.

For additional detail, I used a rubber mat, blue painter's tape, and same stitched wave die to deboss the stitch lines below the scalloped edge.

I used a Mega Runner to adhere the borders to the background. Then attached the assembled card front to an A2 sized (5.5" x 4.25" folded) card base.

I stamped "G'day Mate" onto the card front using VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

Then die cut word hello and attached it over the stamped phrase.

I attached foam tape to the back of the kangaroo and attached to the card.

And here is my finished card...

I love how quick and easy this card was and it got extra HAPPY points for being too stinkin' cute!

I hope you enjoyed this card for today!

G'Day Mate Card

Good Morning Crafty Friends!!
I'm back to share with you all another adorable little card!
I have gone absolutely bonkers over the little critters in the stamp set!

How stinkin' cute is the little platypus?? When I first saw him I immediately knew this set was going to be a favorite. And check out the cute little cactus and Kiwi bird... that was it, I'm dead... this set just killed me with cuteness!!

Pink & Main Supplies Used
Koalaty Friend (Pink and Main)
Koalaty Friend Dies (Pink and Main)
Be Brave 6"x6" Paper Pad (Pink and Main)

Others SuppliesUsed
Blueprints 29  (MFT)
Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX (MFT)
Tim Holtz Distress Markers (Ranger)
Versafine Onyx Black Ink (Tsukineko/ Imagine Crafts)
Mega Runner (Xyron)
Natural Corrugate Stack (DCWV)
140 lb Mixed Media Paper (Strathmore)

To make this card, I first stamped my images from Pink and Main's Koalaty Friend set with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink onto Strathmore Mixed Media Paper.

I like to color more images than I need as a just in case. You know, just in case I mess up or have an accident, or little hands carry them off. LOL

Then I colored these cute little critters with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

For the platypus, I used Stormy Sky and Vintage Photo.
]The cacti were colored Mowed Lawn and Worn Lipstick.
And the little Kiwi bird was colored in Vintage Photo.

Once I the coloring was done, I die cut the images using Pink and Main's matching Koalaty Friend Dies.

For my card base, I used these awesome patterned papers from Pink and Main's new Be Brave 6"x6" Paper Pad. I framed and layered them onto a standard A2 (4.25"x5.5") corrugated cardstock card base.

The bigger rectangle mat measures 4"x 5.25" and the smaller rectangle measures 3"x 4.25".
I also used MFT's Wonky Stitched rectangles to layer over the large rectangle mat and Blueprints 29 to layer over the smaller rectangle.

I stamped my little sentiment on the little flag, also from the Blueprints 29 set.

I used foam adhesive to pop up my images and adhered them to the front of my card.

Then finally added a twine bow topped with an orange button.

And here is my finished card...
I cannot get enough of this little platypus!! And the kiwi bird is the perfect little sidekick to any of the cute animals from this set.

Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy card today.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!!

Be Brave

Hello Crafty Friends,
I'm here with #TeamPINK.. to show you my newest card featuring a new stamp set from Pink and Main thaat  has me feeling pretty adventurous!! If you crave a it of adventure or just like letting your wild side free, you'll love this new April Release called My Tribe! I'm having tons of fun with these little cuties... just see how I made this card down below.

I started by stamping the little tribal boy and girl out in black archival ink onto mixed media paper.
I colored my images with Tim Holtz Distress Markers in Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo, Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Hickory Smoke, and crushed Olive.

Then, I used the coordinating dies to cut out my images.
I absolutely love the new Be Brave 6x6 Paper Pad!! And in all honestly, I think this pad was made specifically to coordinate with this set (but don't quote me on that! LOL), It has lots of geometric shapes, arrows, and feathers... so fun, right??!! And I love love love the color palette! I just had to pair the two together!

For the card base I cut two coordinating papers from the paper pad using the largest rectangle from the Stitched Rounded Rectangles Dies

Then took one of those rectangles and used it to cut a semi circle using the Stitched Circles Dies. this way I had a semi-circle with the stitched lines going around the curved edge as well as along the straight edge bottom.
I cut another rectangle but this time just a 1.5" wide fraction of it and attached it using my Xyron Mega Runner along the bottom of the full sized rectangle cut-out.

Then, stamped the bottom right corner with the sentiment "be brave" in more black ink.

I centered the semi circle just right above the short strip, attaching with more adhesive tape. Then ran the entire card front through my Creative Station Lite.

I attached the card front onto a A2 sized (4.25" x 5.5"- folded ) card made from Corrugate cardstock.

Lastly, I stamped out these feathers and colored them with distress markers. Then cut them out with the coordinating die. I  bundled them together with a small piece of twine and tied it into a bow. Then I attached them to the lower left hand side of my card.

And here is my finished card...
